United Bank Limited donates $75K to the Greencastle-Antrim Education Foundation
United Bank Limited recently announced a donation of $75,000 to the Greencastle-Antrim Education Foundation’s (GAEF) Kaley Field Project.The need for upgrades became clear over six years ago, when a sewer line issue could not be repaired, forcing the Kaley Field restroom facilities to close and portable facilities to be used as a temporary measure. This prompted the GAEF and the Greencastle-Antrim School District to improve the Kaley Field complex.
“On behalf of United Bank Limited, we are pleased to make this contribution to the Kaley Field Project. The upgrade will accommodate the growth of the arts and athletic programs within the Greencastle-Antrim School District,” said Tim Henry, President and CEO of United Bank Limited. “And our neighbors will benefit from the enhanced complex, which hosts various community events and is open to the public for recreational purposes. At United Bank Limited, giving back to the communities we serve is the very core of who we are.”In addition to restrooms, improvements will feature touch-free faucets, hand-dryers and toilets. Construction will also include a central complex access point with an improved ticket booth and concession stand upgrades.
This state-of-the-art, 3,000 square-foot facility was designed to maximize the utilization of space and ultimately cut down on the overall original construction costs. The building is expected to be completed in time for the 2021 school year.
